John Spielman has been a lawyer for 27 years and has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (1990) and Quinnipiac Law School (1997), where he served as an associate editor for Quinnipiac’s Law Review. Additionally, John was the First Honor Graduate from the United States Army’s Academy of Health Sciences nursing program in 1992, and he went on to work as a military nurse and a civilian nurse including a 4-year sojourn at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Prior to being honorably discharged, John was awarded the National Defense Medal as well as an Army Achievement Medal for helping to save a soldier’s life who was suffering from acute symptoms of Gulf War Syndrome.
John consistently demonstrates a “can do” attitude as well as a relentless work ethic. He is fluent in both legal and medical terminology and seeks opportunities to leverage his clients’ medical records to obtain a higher financial recovery.
When not working, John enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, collecting and gifting antique typewriters, as well as creative writing. In 2014 he was awarded First Prize in the children’s story category from the Connecticut Association of Publishers and Authors.
